Bristol Music was founded in September 2006 and is the only up-to-date, accurate website on the net focusing on Bristol, the number one resource in the city. Since our inception we have established a great reputation and in 2008 a fantastic new venture is set ensure we are regarded as the only site in Bristol worth logging onto.
In December 2007 and a chance meeting at a Bristol Festival benefit meeting, Bristol Music is now part of a much bigger organisation having joined forces with the fantastic Suit Yourself Magazine, the city's very best independent, editorially focused magazine.
Suit Yourself Magazine, established in 2004, has championed all things independent and Bristol focused for many years having gained a formidable reputation as an honest, upfront guide to the best things the city of Bristol has to offer. Being independent, they are afforded the rare liberty of editorial integrity... so they write what they think, not what they think they should write... Suit Yourself is a celebration of creativity and the wonderful city in which we live and love.
What bristolmusic.co.uk brings to the table with effective technology, and big venue reviews, Suit Yourself Magazine matches with small intimate venue contacts, edgy editorial and well respected informed opinions.
As a cooperative we’re expanding to list theatre, cinema and clubs events, we will also expand the site to include band profiles, artist reviews and gallery information.
A combination of the sites will reach an immediate figure of 500 visitors a day, which will only grow as we increase the site's offering, we will without a doubt be the very best source of information Bristol has to offer.
Bristol Music lists all kinds of venues from high capacity venues such as The Bristol Academy, Anson Rooms to small but highly popular venues such as The Croft, The Louisiana & The Bunch of Grapes. We will list anything relevant to the city so please just get in touch.
